Poly-Butadiene Rubber (SKD)

Poly Butadiene Rubber is a synthetic rubber that is derived from the polymerization process of the monomer 1,3 butadiene. It has high resistance to wear. Poly Butadiene is largely used in various parts of the automobile tires. It helps to improve the abrasion (less wearing of tire).

Poly butadiene can also be used with SBR in the production of car tires. This rubber can also be used in railway pads, bridge blocks, and golf balls. Poly butadiene rubber is blended with Polystyrene to prepare High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS)
