Poly-Isoprene Rubber (SKI-3)

Poly-Isoprene Rubber has almost the same chemical structure as natural rubber, and is therefore widely used in the same type of products as natural rubber. However, one of its major benefits is that it does not contain proteins, fatty acids, and the other substances that are present in natural rubber. This has prompted increased usage of this rubber in recent years, as many reports about allergic reactions to protein present in natural rubber have surfaced.
